Your PBC Beach Bucket List!

0

The much anticipated season of the year is here – SUMMER!  And that means – BEACH time!

But let’s face it, traveling to the beach, with all your family gear – towels, sunscreen, hats, glasses, chairs, buckets, shovels, coolers, and SNACKS, seems anything BUT relaxing.  So we created a list of our favorite beach spots in Palm Beach County for mamas and kiddos!  It still may not be the relaxing – reading peacefully and sipping margaritas type of beach trip – but we hope this helps a little!

1 – South Ocean Inlet:  Boynton Beach

Perks:  Chair and umbrella rentals, close parking, lots of sand castle building space, small concessions available

Note:  Parking is $5 or $10 depending on the day so plan on visiting this beach when you’re making a longer day trip.

2 – Gulfstream Park Beach:  Delray Beach

Perks:  FREE parking, smaller/quiet beach, playground by the beach

Note:  Because this is a smaller beach, parking fills up fast!  Arrive early!  No concessions available so pack your own snacks.

3 – Lake Worth Beach:  Lake Worth

Perks:  Pizza, restaurants, and ice cream within walking distance!  Lots of metered parking available and short walking distance to the beach.  Chair and umbrella rentals available.  Busy beach, but lots of fun for families!

4 – Juno Beach Pier:  Juno Beach

Perks:  FREE parking and clean bathrooms & showers!  If you walk, north on the beach into Jupiter you can bring your four-legged family member too!

Note: Get an ice-cream treat on the pier to complete your beach day! There is a fee to walk to the end of the pier or fish from the pier but if you buy ice cream you can sit on the pier and enjoy your treat!
