Mom’s “Rock” Out at #imomsohard at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

We can all agree, laughter truly is the best medicine. Especially when it comes to laughing at ourselves as mom’s in our day to day ups and downs.

Sometimes…correction…make that MANY times we find ourselves in sticky situations with our kids and all you can do is laugh.  Many of us think our stories are perfect material for a comedy show..while other moms grab a glass of wine and head to watch moms vent about the joys of motherhood.

My friends and I laughing the night away at #imomsohard Mom’s Night Out

I first heard about the show as I was driving down I-95 and saw a big billboard proclaiming “MOM”S NIGHT OUT.”  Sold!  I, of course, wrangled my closest friends and decided to start planning it.  After all, who doesn’t need some adult time with their friends?

We started the night out at Kuro, their Asian fusion restauraunt which was on point.  Loved their fun cocktails, and flavorful food.  Everything was shareable, so it was fun ordering a bunch of appetizers, and entrees to try it all.  I even tried brussel sprouts for the first time (shout to all the vegan mamas)…they somehow managed to even make me a fan ..prepared perfectly and the seasoning was delicious.

The show was pretty hysterical…we enjoyed how they made fun of themselves, their in-laws, even each other.  We can all agree that mommin’ ain’t easy.  I especially loved the bit where they talked about us all with our big mom purses, as they jokingly collected all the bags from a handful of unsuspecting moms in the audience.  We were all doubled over laughing so hard, as they proceeded to pull out things from the mom bags, such as; diapers, wipes, and other random items.  I honestly don’t even recall the last time I carried a stylish clutch with a fun lip gloss, a small wallet, and a compact.

So, to all my lovely fellow Palm Beach moms..definitely be open to leaving our beautiful county every once in a while and see what else South Florida has to offer.
