This summer, many camps in the Palm Beaches are offering virtual experiences in lieu of an in-person camp, and others are offering in-person camps with safety measures in place. In-Person Summer Camp
Mobile Mini Camp coming to your backyard soon! For less than the price of a babysitter, curate your child’s camp experience with Baseball Yogis. Create your own mini camp, with a group of four to ten children, from ages 3 – 10, in the safety of your home or backyard. All activities, equipment, materials, and instruction, along with supervision, are provided by professionally trained staff. The mobile mini camp program is more than just yoga and baseball. Your child will be treated to a traditional camp program that includes classic yard games, fun educational activities, and surprise themed days. Choose a two or four day session (M/W or T/Th), from 9-11am or 1-3pm, from one or up to eight weeks, June 1 – July 31. The cost per child ranges from $50-60 per child per time slot, per week, with discounts up to 15% off available for siblings and multiple weeks and sessions of camp. South Florida Science Center and Aquarium
Virtual Summer Camp*
*In-Person Camp starting the last week of June
The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium is offering virtual summer camp, hosted on Zoom, June 1-19, for children ages 7-12, with a different theme each week, including “Innovation Challenge,” “Get Amped Up,” and “In My Backyard.” The cost is $75 per week for non-members and $70 per week for members. Families can safely pick up their Camp-in-a-Box, which will include most of the supplies needed to demonstrate amazing at-home experiments. From scavenger hunts to musical engineering, there will be something for everyone!
Beginning the 4th week of June, they will transition back to in-person camps. Each week will offer an immersive and exciting theme, including Blox Coding, Mindbender Academy, and Man to Martian. Ms. Janis Music Club
Stay safe in your home this summer with your little ones. Ms. Janis Music Club is excited to offer virtual classes for your toddlers ages 2.5 – 5 years old this summer. Ms. Janis is offering a flexible class schedule to meet your needs. The classes are designed to keep your little ones engaged with breaks built in to consider the attention span of young children. Circle time, music, movement, and drama are just a few of the fun activities that are planned for this summer. Camp runs from June 1st – July 31st on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Shark Wake Park
In-Person Summer Camp
To beat the heat, check out watersports camp at Shark Wake Park! Children ages 7-15 can enjoy wakeboarding and kneeboarding at Cable Park, as well as daily sessions on Obstacle Island and a weekly BBQ and the Shark Shack. Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center
Summer is here and we are making plans for a fun-filled time at Vinceremos!
Join us for our weekly summer horsemanship camp 2020.Inclusionary camp, for riders of all abilities aged 8-16. No horse experience necessary. Riders will be divided into small groups based on their experience & ability. They will learn equestrian skills and horse care. The program is geared towards building confidence and independence while caring for a horse and enjoying the farm.
What does a typical day look like?
Arrive at the farm- learn about our horse partners and how to care for them. Grooming, tacking, and then riding. Riders will be divided into small groups of like abilities(this camp is limited to 10 campers) Riding groups of no more than 6 per instructor. Campers will have at least one hour of mounted activities. Campers will be introduced to the professionals that care for our horses. The veterinarian may be here to teach you about taking care of your horse. The farrier will show you how the horses get shoes on their feet. You will learn what the horses eat to stay healthy. This all takes place at our state of the art facility with a covered arena and 24 stall barn with our 19 horses.
Campers need to know:
You must wear closed-toed shoes. Bring a reusable water container or other beverage. You can bring snacks- there is a refrigerator on site. There is a vending machine on site.
There are lockers on-site- you can bring your own lock.
Cost-$250 a week
Weekly camps starting June 1.

This summer, Uptown Art is offering kids virtual art classes on demand ($20 with canvas/paint, $10 class only) and Grab and Go Home Art Kits (2 Images for $25 including canvas/paint/written instructions)! There will be 19 online anytime classes to select from like those pictured above, and 70 grab-and-go images which can be viewed by clicking here. What’s Cooking Kids?
Take a trip to the movies this summer… with What’s Cooking Kids? Virtual Sweet Treat Movie Week Camp! Junior Chefs will partake in sweet treat recipes, crafts and activities that correspond with each theme. Customize your Junior Chef’s experience with us by selecting 3 of the themed days. Each camp day will be held via Zoom from 11am to 12 noon. All ingredients and supplies will be distributed prior to the start of the camp week.
Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery and School of Art
Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery & School of Art in Tequesta is now offering their “Super Summer” art camp virtually! Each week of camp will include a “Virtual ArtCamp in a Box,” by mail or curbside pickup. The box contains everything needed for the week, and begins with a surprise character design project featuring a different nationally acclaimed artist each week. Lesson plans for the week expand on the initial character and encourage children to imagine and design their character’s world! Fridays end with a virtual show and tell. Pricing starts at $93 per week with curbside pickup, or $103 with shipping. A 30% discount is also available for children of doctors, nurses, hospital workers, and first responders.
