Jupiter is out of this world! (See what I did there?)
Our little slice of heaven in the north boasts the best of Palm Beach County, but I particularly love it for all of the outdoor activities that my little family can enjoy here. We really do have everything covered!
Feeling an arts day? We’ll check out the schedule at the Maltz Theater, especially kiddo friendly productions.
Being drawn to the water? We’ll hop on the boat and take a cruise down the Intracoastal – pulling up near the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, or launch a canoe in Riverbend Park and float down the Loxahatchee River, or hop over to DuBois Park and watch for manatees.
Is it time for baseball? Roger Dean Stadium is the site for our family’s annual spring training game date day. We’ve also spent many summer evenings there watching the minor league action – and it’s the first place my daughter ever caught a close-up glimpse of Tim Tebow!
Jupiter has so many options for delicious food, it’s impossible to make a shortlist of favorites.
Our number one breakfast spot is Jim’s Place, followed in close second by the Center Street Nook. For lunch, we’ll head over to Dune Dog Café or Duffy’s, a family favorite all around. Dinner is usually Dive Bar Restaurant or Angelo’s Pizza – voted the best pizza in Palm Beach County by my family! (Try the pepperoni roll, it’s so good.) A foodie list wouldn’t be complete without Jupiter Donut Factory. They offer the most amazing donuts, good for breakfast or cut in quarters for dessert. And for years, Castaways/Square Grouper has been our go-to for happy hour, date night – or anytime we’d like an adult beverage with a great view.
Growing up in Delray Beach, living in Palm Beach Gardens for a decade, and now residing in Jupiter – I have been spoiled with incredible places to call home. But… Jupiter truly takes the cake, and it’s where we will be for the rest of our days.
