Why Be Rundown? B Vital!

0
I am exhausted by 3pm. Can I just close my eyes for 5 minutes? I’m just feeling run down, and I don’t know why.  Do any of these sentiments sound familiar to you? They all do to me!  I had just accepted the fact that it was from being a busy, over-scheduled mom, wife and business owner. Well that was, until I took a trip to B Vital Infusion!

B Vital Infusion (www.bvitalinfusion.com) recently opened in May 2017. Located behind Palms West Hospital, it is owned and operated by Dr. Dorothy Blank and family nurse practitioner, Laura Ballard. They are both passionate about health, wellness, fitness, preventative health, nutrition, and exercise. Whether you are looking to rehydrate, get an energy boost, recover from a night on the town, or to achieve and maintain optimal health through infusions of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, B Vital Infusion will cater towards meeting your health needs.

I was greeted by a very friendly staff at their convenient location with lots of parking and was escorted back to a relaxing infusion room. I had a little tag-a-long with me during the appointment, my one-year-old son, Wells. As I had my procedures, he got a little fussy. Dr. Blank even helped me keep him entertained!

So, now onto business. During my visit I had the Organic Foot Therapy, an IV with Classic Myer’s Cocktail, and an IV push with Glutathione.

While you’re there, you can also indulge yourself with an Organic Foot Therapy session, administered by Board Certified Podiatrist Dr. Blank, that aims to repair dry, cracked, and calloused feet. The deep crack that I had on the bottom of my foot is healed after 3 treatments, and my feet look way better overall on the bottom than they ever did from getting regular pedicures. She even offers an optional lotion for purchase to help the feet finish peeling once you leave the office. I am barefoot a lot and my feet get nasty. Highly recommend this treatment!

Classic Myer’s Cocktail includes B vitamins, Vitamin C, calcium and magnesium. Great for immunity, improving sleep, health, energy, skin, cluster headaches, sinus infections, upper respiratory infections, asthma, allergies, fibromyalgia, muscle spasms, cardiovascular disease,  detoxification, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, tingling hands and feet, or just to replenish vitamin stores. Now most of these problems don’t pertain to me, BUT I have had chronic pain in my shoulder probably since my son was 6 months old. He is now 18 months. I always carry him on the same side of my body. For whatever reason, I noticed immediate pain relief in my shoulder after this treatment! Also, it definitely put a pep in my step and I had more energy and focus after leaving the office.

The Glutathione IV push was quick and easy. Nurse Laura Ballard is a pro with those IV needles! This extraordinary antioxidant is known as the body’s “master antioxidant”. It is found in every cell in the body and scours our body of free radicals, toxins, and heavy metals that pose a threat to our health and wellness.  The highest concentrations of glutathione is found in our liver to assist in detoxification. It is also a premier anti-aging oxidant that results in less wrinkles, spots and skin that glows. You had me at anti-aging! It even gave me a little bit of the pregnancy-skin glow (without the pregnancy weight, haha).

The major benefit is that IV vitamins allow for 100% absorption..where maximum absorption by taking a very high quality pill and includes that the person is not taking any birth control or other medication that hinders absorption, only would be 40% at best. Most people are deficient in vitamins and minerals due to diet, medications or health conditions. And it’s also a chance to pamper yourself and sit and relax in their beautiful office!

A Florida native through and through, Amanda happily resides in Wellington with her husband Keith, daughter Whitney Kay(5) and son Wells(1). Amanda has a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida (thank goodness her hubby is a Gator grad, too = no house divided). After much contemplation, she recently retired from her 15+ year career as a yearbook publishing representative to start her own Embroidery/Monogramming business, AKWedgworth Creative. (AKW Creative on Instagram AKWCreative and Facebook at AKWCreative) In addition to running her business from home, playing with her very active baby boy Wells, fill out her day in between monograms. Amanda is a Placement Adviser for Junior League of the Palm Beaches and a member of Building Better Moms at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church. Thanks to her husband Keith, who is a fourth-generation farmer in Belle Glade, Amanda is also very active in the Palm Beach County (largest agriculture county east of the Mississippi river) ag community. No land, no farmers, no food right? Amanda is the girl who thrives on being as busy as humanly possible! Some of her favorite things include pretty much anything crafty, monogramming, making to-do lists, holiday decorations & holiday candy (Peeps anyone?), HOBBY LOBBY, spending time with friends and family, being a cheer/gymnastics mom, meeting new people, being the family organizer, and strengthening her relationship with God. Oh yeah, one more thing. Trying each day to get to 10,000 steps. Key word, trying.
