Passionate About the Palm Beach area
and the Moms Who Live Here

Meet the Owners

I’m Meg Palumbo and wanted to introduce myself and tell you how excited I am about bringing the City Moms Collective Network to Palm Beach and starting Palm Beach Collective! Born and raised a proud Rhode Islander, I first moved to Florida to attend the University of Miami. “Go C.A.N.E.S!!!” After graduating I missed the northeast and moved back north with my now husband, Chris!

I married Chris in 2009 and had my first son, Jameson, in 2011. In Rhode Island, I first worked for a small public relations firm and then spent a majority of my career working for a national insurance carrier on their sponsorship team, as well as their advertising team.

We always knew that moving was a possibility with Chris’ job and right before Jameson turned one, Chris accepted a position in West Palm Beach and I became a stay at home mom.

We officially moved to Wellington in January of 2013 and have loved it ever since! In 2014, we welcomed our second son, Patrick and in January of 2018, we welcomed our daughter, Amelia!

Most recently, I have been able to use my event planning experience helping to execute some amazing weddings here in Palm Beach. I’ve been looking for something that combines my work experience with my passions, my family, my friends and my community! Thus, Palm Beach Mom Collective was born! Thanks for joining me on this amazing journey!

I’m Christen Thompson, and I’m so excited to be joining Meg as co-owner of Palm Beach Mom Collective! I was born in Boston and raised in New Hampshire until the age of 11, when my family moved to South Florida. I grew up in Parkland, Florida, and I have lived in the Palm Beach area with my husband and our two kids for the past eight years.

I attended law school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, and after graduating I worked for a law firm in West Palm Beach that specializes in insurance defense. My husband Nick is a professional golfer, and despite knowing next to nothing about golf when I met him, I now know the difference between a bogey and a birdie, and I have traveled across the country and beyond with him to golf tournaments.

When our oldest son Nicholas was born in October 2013, I thought about starting a blog. I bought a domain name and a website and started writing, but it was not the same as having a community—like the community that Palm Beach Mom Collective has as a tribe of local moms. After my youngest son Luke was born in May 2017, I started writing articles for Palm Beach Mom Collective.

In my downtime I love reading, writing, going for walks or runs, and spending time with my family and friends. I feel so lucky to have found a place for passion, creativity, and connection!
